# 8. Launch Plan & Roadmap

**Where We Are Now**\
We are starting with a centralized version of MAI to enable real gameplay and data collection prior to full decentralization. This approach allows us to test core mechanics, user flows, and system performance under live conditions.

**Why Centralized First**

* **Speed to market** – Players can access games within weeks.
* **Operational feedback** – Live deployment enables faster iteration based on actual usage data.
* **Model validation** – Core mechanics can be refined prior to the full on-chain release.

**The Path to Monad**\
Monad is the target environment for MAI. Upon Monad mainnet launch, MAI will transition to a fully on-chain, verifiable, and community-governed platform:

* Instant, on-chain game resolution
* Publicly verifiable odds and results
* Community-owned house edge
* Governance via MAI token holders

**Projected Timeline** *(Subject to Change)*

* **August 2025** – Centralized beta launch with core games
* **Q4 2025** – Expanded game library, incentive layer preparation
* **Monad Mainnet Launch (TBA)** – Full decentralization, incentive layer, and prediction markets
